Our Facilities:-
Kids: - These well-equipped and spacious rooms provide a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating the interest of kids students during recreation as well as during specific class activities.
Science Laboratory:-
Science is taught as an experimental subject at Riverdale. That means the students spend most of their time in the labs actively experiencing science, rather than passively having it demonstrated to them by the teachers. In our three brand-new state-of-the-art laboratories for Chemistry, Biology and Physics, all students learn how to design and execute their own experiments, record their findings and draw up scientific reports. The labs are equipped with the latest technological devices in order to support cutting-edge experimentation.

Smart Classes:-
Learn through Smart class the most acclaimed library of 3d and 2d video educational resources now at your Smart class online enables rich collaboration between the school administration, students, teachers and parents We all know how helpful it is to remember something that is taught visually to us rather than the one that is read through pages after pages.
Smart classes use all interactive modules like videos and presentations and these visually attractive methods of teaching becomes appealing to students who are already struggling with the traditional method of teaching in a classroom. In fact, smart classes are almost like watching movies as sometimes, animated visuals are used to teach a point. This kind of visual is both eye-catching and young students can easily relate with them. This is because the audio-visual senses of students are targeted and it helps the students store the information fast and more effectively.
Art:- In the Infants Art and Design Program, children learn how to follow simple instructions, help make a finished piece of work, understand that time and patience are often needed to complete a piece of work, and how to work on a creation until it is finished. They willingly help tidy up after an activity and follow safety rules with an understanding of why such rules exist. They are encouraged to talk about their work and the work of others. They work with tools, equipment, materials and components to make quality products, select tools, techniques and materials for making their product from a range suggested by the teacher, explore the sensory qualities of materials, measure, mark out, cut and shape a range of materials and much more.
MUSIC FOR ALL:-
The school choirs rehearse during lunchtimes, with the orchestra rehearsing every Wednesday evening. Students are usually expected to have reached grade 2 standard to play in the orchestra, but there are no auditions for the choir. Rehearsals continue throughout the year in preparation for a number of performances e.g. The annual advent services, the spring cabaret, occasional lunchtime events and other liturgical events in school. Instrumental lessons are offered for orchestral strings, clarinet, flute, saxophone, brass and drum kit. All students who play one of these instruments at their junior school are uaranteed lessons when they join us in year 7. There are also opportunities for some pupils to take up an instrument for the first time.
Health and Safety regulations require a wound to be washed with clean water or sterile wipes and then apply a sterile dressing. We cannot apply creams or lotions unless a Healthcare plan is in place. We cannot give aspirin to children under twelve. The only suitable analgesics recommended are Calpol or Paracetamol tablets and this will be given only with parental consent. First aiders normally wear protective gloves while administering first aid.

Security System & CCTV: - The safety and security of our students is our priority in school. In order to provide a secure environment for our students, the school has taken the initiative to install CCTV cameras around the school campus to ensure safety at all times.
EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
Parents are required to ensure that the school has up-to-date information on how they can be contacted during school hours. This means that we must have at least two numbers to try. We are happy to call mobile numbers. When a child is ill it adds to their distress when we cannot contact parents/carers. Please remember that it is your parental responsibility to contact us when any of your contact details change.
HOME LEARNING: - We believe that children benefit from home learning. We also believe that this should be offered in a way that doesn’t cause stress or difficulties at home. As a result, we have devised Home Learning challenges that support the learning in school and encourage a creative approach. Teachers are very aware that some pupils find homework very difficult so we ensure that there is time for children or parents to see your teacher if this is the case. Subjects such as reading, multiplication tables and spelling are areas that home can support at all times. If you have any questions as how to best support your child, your son or daughter’s class teacher will be able to help.
